Careful to not let this 1978 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This BEAUTY has only had two owners since it was brand new, the original owner sold it in 2007 to the gal we bought it from. It only has 99,661 ORIGINAL MILES !! We have the ORIGINAL owner's manual, and maintenance book. Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking truck. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is sound and in very nice shape. It is a DRY - SOLID - Idaho truck all its life. We found only normal surface rust underneath, all the cab supports, floor pans and bed, had no rust damage, just what you would expect from low mile dry weather driving, WOW what a find. This Chevy "BIG 10" has the original STRONG - OPTIONAL "LF8" - Torque Monster Big Block 454 CID V8 in it and it is running very well. Sounds good too with the stock style dual exhaust system !! The engine is backed by a smooth three speed automatic that was removed and rebuilt in March of this year by Napa Auto Care, and it functions very well. The Green interior is VERY NICE and has the OPTIONAL "Silverado" trim level including a NICE Original Green folding bench seat with new upholstery, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE Original dash pad, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, NICE ORIGINAL sun visors, NICE ORIGINAL door panels, nice original carpet and a NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel. The truck has an Audiovox AM/FM Cassette stereo and 6" Audiovox speakers in front and 6X9" speakers in back and it sounds great. This truck is nicely equipped including power steering, factory heavy duty power Disc brakes, factory gauge package, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, dual factory fuel tanks, original dual Camper Special exterior mirrors, A/C, good heater and defroster and 3 point seat belts, comfort tilt steering column, Glide-out full sized spare tire, Soft ray tinted glass, factory sliding rear window, Ice cold factory A/C, Cruise Control, and original factory Rally Wheels. This truck is a great running and wonderful looking Pickup. This 78 Chevrolet Silverado "Big 10" heavy 1/2 ton pickup has sharp looks and TONS of power as well ! This truck has a great ride, it is smooth and quiet and really rides as nice as any new truck !! I was amazed at what a joy it was to drive this truck. I drove this truck around for a week back and forth to work and running errands and it doesn’t pull or wonder even when applying the brakes and drives down the freeway at 75 MPH no problem. I mean this truck doesnt have a squeek or rattle even when going over bumps. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and driveline seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system.This Pickup is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in wonderful condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a sought after and hard to find Classic truck that is not seen at every stoplight for sure. If you have been looking but can not find a sharp truck worthy of your hard-earned money look NO further because this is the one! The new Code "46" Holly Green and white two tone finish on this vehicle is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing only a few imperfections and is still bright and shiny and looks GREAT as you can see in the pictures above and below !! I tried to take some full sun pictures to show how beautiful the paint is, but they kind of get a little washed-out. The bed is in good shape. The original front chrome bumper with the optional guards is nice as is the heavy-duty rear chrome bumper. Check out the NICE stock Rally wheels with factory original wheel covers and nice "Big O" SXP GT white letter performance radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this truck and really retain that original look !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well, and has Monster Power. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below.
