Vehicle Detail

3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!! Up for bids is a 1983 Chevy Elcamino running project. This car has been sitting under a carport for quite awhile so it will have to be gone over before it is road worthy. It needs an oil change, a couple tires and just a good going over before putting it on the road so it needs hauled to its new home. The engine sounds good and the trans seems to shift correct. This was checked in a garage since it is not road worthy and has no license or insurance on it. The complete air conditioning system is intact so a vacuum and recharge will probably put it back in working order, The body was pretty much worked awhile back and it shows NO rust through anywhere. The drivers side fender needs lined up to make it look good, an easy fix. There has been a few dings or dents repaired and they just need a little block sanding to make it right. About 2 days work and this Elcamino will be ready for the paint room or you can just drive it as is with the flat black finish it has now. The flat black is a light coat to keep the water from penetrating the primer. The bottom of the doors are solid as are the floor pans and the bed floor. The frame is also good. The rear bumper is fair with a little chrome peeling, front is twisted a little on the drivers side front corner which I think could be straightened enough for a daily driver. Chrome is off of rear window but I have it and will come with the car. Rear tires are rough treads but may run awhile, front ones are junk, wouldnt trust them. All the factory wheels are there with the trim rings but someone stole all 4 center caps while the car was stored. The grille isnt very good but its there. The interior is fairly rough but again, decent for a daily driver. It is a grayish or greenish color. The seat has some kind of cover thrown over it because the seat cover is ripped pretty bad from dry rot. The dash pad is cracked quite a bit, carpet is decent but someone tried to dye it and it looks kinda bad. Headliner is there, door panels are decent for a driver. The car has power windows and they both work, not sure about power locks, will have to check them. It has a tilt wheel which is nice and tight as it should be. Dont know whatelse to tell you so email me with your questions before bidding. This is a great car to check over and drive while your working on it or put in in the shop and a couple days it will be ready for paint. This could be a very nice car as its not eat up with rust. There has been some repairs but nothing showing through anywhere that im aware of. If you looking to get into a great Elcamino for a minimal investment, look no further, this is it. the reserve is very fair for a car in this restorable condition. checkout my 100% positive feedback guys and you will see youre dealing with an honest ebayer. You dont get that kind of great feedback if you lie and cheat people, I tell it like it is. All that being said please remember this is a 1983 model that has been sitting in storage for awhile and needs some TLC. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid on this great Elcamino project. REMEMBER THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!On Nov-02-12 at 10:16:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Guys the passenger side rear floorpan does have some rust through in it, not gone but has some rust. The others are ok. Also the bottom of the frame rails are damaged a little from dragging on something. You see this a lot with cars that have this type of frame set up. The frame IS NOT bent just the edge bend a little from rough road I guess. Neither of these are problems but I just want to be honest about it all so theres no question for the winning bidder. Checkout my feedback and you will see I am honest about all I sell on ebay. Thanks
