1974 Volkswagon Westfalia Camper bus - 4 cylinder - air cooled motor and 4 speed manual transmission - rear wheel drive -disc brakes, upgraded carburator and exhaust system, new axles, upgraded stereo system mp3 player, ipod compatable, cd/am-fm - 4 speakers and more..... Interior conditon - original orange plaid for rear seats and bunk - rear seat folds down into bed - top pops up and has a pull out bunk-sleeps 4 - also have the toddler hammock for front cab area - original curtains - Orange shag carpet and matching camping dinner service - interior dining table with pull-out and side table - two burner stainless steel propane stove and refrigerator. stainless steel sing with pump under counter storage compartments and under seat storage - which can hold an extra battery. interior lighting and hooks ups from outside. - Pop up Top canvas original - orange - has small tear on upper left side - other than that in good condition can be repaired. some sun faded areas of rear sun pad on rear deck. - Pop top seal replaced - front window seal replaced - rear engine door seal replaced - battery tray replaced with steel - small amount of metal panel replacement professionally done - rear left rocker and right wheel well area - good spare tire - tires at 75% gaskets replaced on engine - and new clutch installed about 5000 miles ago - have all receipts for repairs done since we have owned it This bus is currently registered and insured and we drive it frequently - every day driver and we have had a lot of fun with it - currently starting another vw project and time to move this one on to another happy owner. Outside paint and body - body is solid and in good condition - including the floor and undercarriage -replaced all shocks and brakes and lines a couple of years ago - this bus has been well maintained - mechanic owned and cared for. - I have been working on the mural of this bus for the last two years - body is straight and solid - I have done this project in the Hippy Bus Style - this is a rustoleum paint job - hand painted by me - who loves music - call it what you want - but we always get people who come over and talk to us and take pictures where ever we go - it is a happy bus..... great conversation starter and a definite hit at concerts and tailgating events..records part of the mural in black-done in black chalkboard paint-so you can have your friends write in their favorite songs or artists- erasable and fun.
