I intended to sell this 2004 Oldsmobile Alero several months ago, but I found myself using the Alero to get back and forth to work and around the Orlando, Fl area...it is much more economical than my Honda Pilot...finally, my wife says enough...too many cars in the driveway...I bought the car and drove it from Rhode Island to Orlando without a hitch...I would have no hesitation to drive the Alero cross country..when I got the Alero to Orlando it had 135,297 miles...it now shows 137,400 miles...once in Orlando, I had the car serviced and put on new brakes and a UV joint...additionally, I had a small rust spot near the drivers door repaired...this car is ready for a new owner as a daily driver or for a student commuter car...the only problems I am aware of are the following: -trunk release button does not work...you need to open with the key...might just be a fuse -I bought 2 key fobs to use, but have not had them programmed...I will leave them with the new owner for programming -driver carpet has hole worn in it (I also bought new mats for the Alero)
