1966 Karmann body, 3 instrument, 5 speed. Front swaybar. Factory option wood steering wheel. My Father bought this car in the late 80's after it was brought over from europe, where it was last tagged in 1984.Originally tan with black interior, it had a color change in 1998.After the paint the car got new carpet, headliner, and new seals for the doors, and front and rear glass, new seals for quarter windows are included with the car. All original parts that were removed were saved, such as the carbs, breathers, blaupunkt am/fm/sw radio with the reverb control,[reverb box still in back deck]wheels w/hubcaps, oil filter assy.[added extra oil cooler with spin on oil filter]. Car was parked in 2001 due to health reasons. In the last 3 months the car has had the weber carbs rebuilt[40mm], fuel pump, all fuel hoses replaced,Fuel tank was cleaned and lined with POR 15 tank sealer, valve adjust, plugs, and wires.Rear brake calipers were rebuilt, front pads replaced, and system bled.Car also has stainless steel brake lines, and Fuchs 16" dia wheels from a 914/6. .Original owners manual is still in great shape and in Porsche plastic cover. Optima battery does not come with car. Body number 455783, Engine number 745991.No bondo or rust in fenders/quarters, very straight solid car for not being restored. Has been garaged since the purchase in the 80's.Only repair in floor was the pan in front of the fuel tank was replaced due to battery corrosion.
