We bought this car from froma gal that had bought it from her girlfriend in California that had it forever! This car was her "baby" and it showed, it was purchased NEW CA and always garaged (We still have the California lic plates). When I picked it up it was parked inside a carpeted garage, WOW what a find! ONLY 56,465 ORIGINAL MILES!! I believe it is a great value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a 1969 convertible which they tell me it is the one to have. I have driven this BEAUTY as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives GREAT. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TOO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds, I drove it on the freeway at 75 MPH no problem. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disapointed !!The car has the smooth, original 1.5L VW four cylinder carberated motor with sport exhaust in it and it runs great. It also has a good four speed manual gearbox. The Yellow exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The Black convertible top is Nice and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do, and has Original Glass rear window. The rubber seals on this car are good condition including side window seals, quarter window seals, door seals, convertible top seals, front hood seal, rear hood seal, new windshield and seal etc... The black interior is also in nice condition with NICE New original style Black basket-weave front bucket seats, NICE New original style Black basket-weave rear bench seat, NICE Black carpeting throughout, NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE door panels, NICE dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, with VDO engine temp gauge, NICE sun visors and a NICE White headliner . This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including Awesome Alpine AM/FM/CD/MP3 Digital stereo with 4 "Eclipse" speakers two 6" in the front and 2 6X9" in the back, Dual factory exterior stainless steel mirrors, good heater and defroster and good front and rear factory seat belts, 3-point in the front. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are nearly new and are mounted on Factory wheels with Original chrome Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAL chrome and stainless on this car is all nice including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. It also comes with Original matching convertible top boot. The front trunk area is clean and contains a full sized spare tire and jack, and lug wrench. I looked underneath and also included photos below, it has the nice Original floor pans. This is a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot ! This little 1969 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible is a real find. We bought this car from froma gal that had bought it from her girlfriend in California that had it forever! This car was her "baby" and it showed, it was purchased NEW CA and always garaged (We still have the California lic plates). When I picked it up it was parked inside a carpeted garage, WOW what a find! ONLY 56,465 ORIGINAL MILES!! I believe it is a great value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a 1969 convertible which they tell me it is the one to have. I have driven this BEAUTY as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives GREAT. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TOO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds, I drove it on the freeway at 75 MPH no problem. The car has the smooth, original 1.5L VW four cylinder carberated motor with sport exhaust in it and it runs great. It also has a good four speed manual gearbox. The Yellow exterior paint is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing and is still bright and shiny and looks VERY NICE as you can see in the pictures. The Black convertible top is Nice and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do, and has Original Glass rear window. The rubber seals on this car are good condition including side window seals, quarter window seals, door seals, convertible top seals, front hood seal, rear hood seal, new windshield and seal etc... The black interior is also in nice condition with NICE New original style Black basket-weave front bucket seats, NICE New original style Black basket-weave rear bench seat, NICE Black carpeting throughout, NICE ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE door panels, NICE dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster, with VDO engine temp gauge, NICE sun visors and a NICE White headliner . This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including Awesome Alpine AM/FM/CD/MP3 Digital stereo with 4 "Eclipse" speakers two 6" in the front and 2 6X9" in the back, Dual factory exterior stainless steel mirrors, good heater and defroster and good front and rear factory seat belts, 3-point in the front. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. The radial tires are nearly new and are mounted on Factory wheels with Original chrome Volkswagon hubcaps. The ORIGINAL chrome and stainless on this car is all nice including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. It also comes with Original matching convertible top boot. The front trunk area is clean and contains a full sized spare tire and jack, and lug wrench. I looked underneath and also included photos below, it has the nice Original floor pans. This is a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot !
