1970 Chevrolet CST-10. Daily driver for me for the last 8 years. This is a great project truck with a solid foundation. CST (Custom Sport Truck) package and in demand short bed. Featured in October 2012 Hemming Auto News, the 67-72 C-10's are on their way to becoming coveted collector vehicles. This particular model is valued by Hemmings at a low of $9,000 (rough/project) to a high of $40,000 (restored/factory). - Bucket Seats - Center Console - Upgraded 3/4 ton Rear Coil Springs with factory installed additional load rear leaf springs - Factory Positrac rear-end - Factory Tachometer and full factory gauges - Baby moon Chevy Bow Tie Wheels - New Rubber floor covering with new insulation - New Dual Exhaust - New Carb - New OEM Wiring and fuse box - New Blower motor for fan The truck is definitely a project vehicle but all in all a solid foundation to build on. The seats need new vinyl and there is some slight body damage where a bad repair took place on the passenger side of the exterior bed before I bought the vehicle. I am the third owner and have the original Owner's Manual with the original owners notes written in it, pretty cool. Some small rust damage in the front passenger side quarter panel under the battery where it appears there was a battery leak that corroded through. Paint is rough although in the pictures the truck looks very clean. The pictures are untouched so all in all the truck is pretty clean. Exhaust manifolds need some attention due to age but with the 307 under the hood I am certain either a rebuild or engine replacement will take place depending on the goal of the buyer. If you just want a very cool driver then not much needs to be done.
