Up for bid is a super reliable 2001 Hyundai Accent. This car is basic transportation at its best with 165k highway miles. It has been maintained very well – never having been in an accident. The engine is very strong and peppy with extremely good gas mileage as you would expect in the mid-30’s. Please note: THIS IS A 5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION – NOT AN AUTOMATIC. I have just replaced the clutch (read: new transmission) this past week and the car runs great. The paint is in great condition – it shines like new. The interior is free from a lot of dirt and staining. It has a working radio but no other options – including A/C. Additionally, I believe it needs 2 motor mounts. When shifting, at high speeds, the car pulls to the right. I would recommend towing it home for safety issues. Outside of that, there really isn’t much else to tell. The car shifts smoothly and runs like a top. It’s ready for the next 200k miles for the next owner – It should pass any state inspection after addressing minimal issues.
