Classic Workhorse- No Air Conditioning- No Power Steering- No Power Brakes- No Power Windows, No Cruise Control. It does have an automatic but other than that, it is just a plain ole work truck with only 118000 miles and a powerful 360 V8. It has the long wide box. I know the history of this truck and I believe the miles to be true.Here is some of the history. An elderly couple in our church bought the truck in 1985 (they weren't that old at the time). They kept all the emissions test records and the miscellaneous repair records. On a 10/19/1987 work order, the odometer showed 97,542. They bought the truck to pull their camping trailer. It does have an electric brake set up. Shortly thereafter he became sick and had a lengthy illness that eventually took his life. With his illness, they didn't use the truck very much during that time. After he passed away, she sold the trailer and bought a little Mitchell fishing hut that she would occasionally take to the mountains until she bought some mountain property and built a cabin. After that, the truck just sat although she did continue to get the annual emissions test until that was done away with. From 1987 to 2012, the truck traveled only 21,000 miles. It had set for quite awhile and she finally felt that she could let the truck go as it wasn't running and it was just time. I pulled the truck home, rebuilt the carb, replaced the distributor (the old one had a bad diaphram and base plate) with new points and plugs, and powerwashed the 40 years of grime off the engine and frame. It is now ready for the next owner to decide what they want to do with it. The truck originally started out as a two tone brown (if I interpreted the code correctly). They had an inexpensive white paint job put on the truck. There are some repaired rust spots and some others that will need some attention. I compiled all the documents that she kept and you can see the progression of the mileage. It has pretty much sat for the past 6 years.The glass is good. am radio works as does the heater. It has three gas tanks. The bed of the truck has a rubber mat to protect the bottom of the bed. I pulled the mat up and it is very straight, no rust, underneath it.If you would like to come to beautiful Colorado Springs and take a look at it.
