Vehicle Detail
1965 Willys CJ-3B Flat Fender Jeep, daily driver This Jeep was restored in 2005 - tub off. I sold it in January 2009 and just recently (within the last couple of months) bought it back. Thinking that since I knew the Jeep, I would use it. But, too many other projects are taking my time so I will let someone else enjoy it. I've owned and restored about a half dozen CJ3A's and B's, so I can talk Jeep if you want to listen. So, what we have here is what you see. It is in great condition. It is a stock high hood Jeep. Engine was rebuilt 12956 miles ago. The odometer was spun back to zero when the motor, transmission, etc. was all rebuilt. I've put about 150 miles on it since I have had it back and have completely given it a complete tune up and service and rebuilt the original YF Carbureator and just put it on and got it dialed in. Not that the Jeep needed anything, I just wanted to start from scratch. Shifts great, doesn't pop out of gear like some do. Starts right up, runs all day and doesn't get hot. Has 11" brakes from a Gladiator truck, so it stops pretty well. Everything works. Very reliable. Hard to find defroster, Warn hubs. Top is nearly new. Tow bar, period radio and Motorola speakers, brass fire extinguisher. Original Warn 8274 winch with cab controls. This Jeep is loaded and is turn key. If you are in to Willys, you know by 1964, all Willys identification was off the Jeep because Kaiser owned them. But I had OEM size Willys decals made and put on the hood and tailgate. These easily come off if you are a purist. But everyone will always ask, "Is that an old Willys?" and not knowing anything about Kaiser ownership, all they remember Willys and AMC. Any questions, please email me. Would rather have you ask questions now and bid to buy.On Oct-19-12 at 22:25:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: Noticed that my wife (who posted this) did a typO... Engine is a F-head, not a flathead (as she thought the F stood for).. but all you Jeep guys know that. Have had a number of bidders wanting some additional pics of the undercarriage and top. I am having difficulty getting them uploaded. If you want further pics, please send an email and we will send via a return email to you. Lots of photos. Thanks!
