1966 mustang convertible 200ci 6cyl automatic with 59000 orig miles. Car was parked in a old barn since 1978. I purchased this car to work on. I put new oil and filter,sanded the points changed the battery and the engine started right up with putting gas in carb. Trans fluid looks good and nothings leaking. Car will more than likely need gas tank,fuel pump,carb kit,brake work and normal maintnance for a car that has been sitting as long as it has. The car seems to be pretty solid considering these cars rust easily. The rust seems to be contained to the floor pan area mainly pass rear pan due to rain water leaking from barn roof into floor area of car. I pulled carpet out so you can see rust area. The top material is pretty much gone but the frame is in exelent shape and works great.The trunk,trunk drops,frame rails, rockers,wheel wells,doors,firewall,engine bay, are all solid. This car is very original and intact.Car is sold with bill of sale only no title, as is no warranty paypent due in 7 days after auction ends. Buyer responsible for shipment.
