3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!! For all you guys out there wanting a SS Elcamino but thought you couldnt afford one well check this out!!!! Letting this go at a very low buy it now price because I need the money out of it to work on my 72 project I recently purchased. This is an 85 Elcamino Super Sport with the 305 engine and automatic trans. This car has been in storge for awhile so it really should be gone over before driving it very far. Good engine and trans, brakes feel good so it wont take much to get it road worthy. The tires have some tread but they are dry rotted on the side walls so I feel there unsafe. The interior has the bucket seats with the console and floor shift. the carpet is there but faded and dirty. The drivers seat has a couple small holes in the side vinyl part but the cloth is good, just needs cleaning. I think the passenger side is good but also needs cleaned. The dash pad has a couple cracks, the door panels are faded some but in pretty good condition. It has a tilt column that is nice and tight. Headliner has the cloth missing and the sunvisors are pretty rotted. The body on this Elcamino is actually pretty nice for an 85 model The passenger side has had a couple rust places repaired, in front of and behind the rear wheel, doesnt appear to have been very bad at all. The drivers side is solid and I cant see any rust repair at all. The bottom of the doors have a little scaly rust but dont think theres any rust through, actually pretty solid, no holes. The bed floor is solid also. Somebody installed 2 of the small sunroofs in the top, I dont know whay, but they are the smaller ones, not the big long one. Thisshould be an easy fix if you want to take them out. They look decent but not my cup of tea, mybe yours. There are a few dings or very small dents here and there but nothing major at all. The overall paint is driver quality but could stand new paint to make it real nice. Part of the drivers side door and fender show some cracking in the paint as if it was painted sometime with lacquer paint, not coming off, just shows cracks. I think I added a picture of it.Its the two tone with stripes seperating the colors. It has some bad olaces in the paint especially on the hood but as I said, ok for a driver.The floor pans in this car are real good. There is one soft spot behind the drivers seat about 2 inch by 4 inch but thts the only place. The frame is good front to back. All in all this is a great car to just go over, add some good tires and drive the wheels off of it. Maybe do the little things while you drive it. Also the wheels are all the factory ones but one wheel is missing the center cap. This car can be ready to ride with just a little work but you cannot get in it and drive it home. The engine in this car runs good but has a little lifter noise, nothing in the bottom, just lifter, probably from being stored as the auction states. An oil change would probobly cure it.
