Description 2004 BMW 745 IHISTORY OF THIS BABY This is the 4th generation of BMW’s largest series that first went on sale in January 2002 with a MSRP price of $69,300 (not including taxes and fees). The styling of these 7 –series Beemers departs from BMW tradition, especially at the rear. The innovative iDrive control system has drawn praise and hailed as a high tech wonder. This system places the most-used controls in and around the steering wheel and others in a rotary-dial controller on the console. The six-speed-automatic transmission operates with shift-by-wire technology and an unconventional electronic control system.What remains traditional to the BMW styling mark is the familiar twin-kidney grille and a reverse kink in the C-pillar. Bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights operate with both high and low beams as well. The six-speed-automatic transmission works with adaptive technology. This luxury sedan-no doubt- seats five people, and the driver gets a 14-way power seat with microperforated leather upholstery.
