Hello, Im selling my 2005 Chevy Aveo LT sedan. Car is in Excellent working condition. I am selling this car because I bought something more Sporty (Scion TC). I am in the Navy and have no need for 2 cars and need to sell this vehicle as it will not get driven. My wife and I just moved from Arkansas to Virginia and she drove the car to Virginia with no problems and we also have her car. I bought this car with around 122,000 miles on it a couple years ago from an Insurance auction. It has a rebuilt title. The previous owner hit a deer damaging the front of the car. My dad who is a mechanical engineer rebuilt the front end. The hood was damaged, as well as the Ac condenser and radiator. New radiator, new Ac Condenser and a new hood. Alternator has also been replaced. I drove the car back and forth to work everyday with no problems. It was inspected by the state and was safe to put back on the road and was granted a rebuilt title. Windshield has always been cracked and I never replaced it. Transmission shifts very smoothly through all gears. The tranny oil and filter have been replaced. One of the wheel covers are missing. Tires have about 55-60% tread left on them. Car does have some stains on the carpet from the previous owner (please see pictures)I assume she had children. All locks and windows are power and work just fine. I was told that the brake booster may need to be replaced so I have purchased a used one from another aveo and you will get it with the car. I never had it installed. The only minor issue with the car is after you put gas in it (it does this randomly but very seldom) when you start the car and put it into drive it stalls however once you take it out of drive and restart it, it works just fine. My dad and I never could figure it out and never really worried about it because it didnt happen very often. I called a few mechanics and they said it could be that the gas tank vent does not work correctly. About 10,000 miles ago My dad and I rebuilt the engine because the timing belt broke. Parts that were replaced -New gates timing belt.-Gates timing belt tensioner-GM Water pump-New valves -Head was taken to a machine shop in Arkansas owned by Napa Auto parts.-Head was cleaned, cams were cleaned -New gaskets The car does not burn ANY oil, and will pass any state inspection. It was rebuilt professional by someone who has been working on vehicles for a long time. I looked up the Kelly's blue book of this vehicle and its worth 2700-3400. Please only bid if you are serious. Meaning SERIOUS bidders only. I will not accept any offers for the car and they will be ignored, it will be auctioned off. I do have the title in hand and its being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Always do your homework when purchasing a vehicle. A payment of 500.00 is required after auction ending as a deposit to hold the car and the remaining amount will need to be payed with cash in hand..
