Vehicle Detail
Lovingly maintained, 2000 white Mercedes Benz E430 4Matic V8. I have been the proud second owner of this gorgeous machine for seven years. I purchased the vehicle from my original MB mechanic who also maintained this car for a woman who in turn, privately sold it to me. I have kept ALL of my maintenance records for this vehicle since the day I purchased it, showing oil, light bulb, and battery changes; required MB "A" and "B" servicing, air conditioning tune-ups, a windshield replacement due to rock damage, etc. All this will be handed over to the buyer upon sale for your records. Included also, is the original owners manual. In February, I had the front brakes, exhaust and front end replaced due to simple use. The 4Matic maintenance was also performed in February 2012. All records of receipt will show that and the parts used. All servicing was performed at Globe Motor Car Company, (a Mercedes-Benz Dealership) in Fairfield, NJ . Everything was performed by Mercedes-Benz mechanics and all MB parts were used. It's absolutely true, if you can maintain a Mercedes, it will last. This one has been truly cared for. My car is well kept, and I still get comments on how pretty it is, but I do have to say it IS a thirteen year old car that does have 140,000 miles on it. I have had her professionally detailed twice a year, and in between hand washed and waxed her to maintain it. I use the car everyday, and I do keep it in my private driveway, not in a garage. Unfortunately, there are tiny marks from road tar behind the rear wheel well that I haven't been able to get off this fall yet, and with all of the construction here in North Jersey, there is tiny marks on the front end of the car due to asphalt or road debris, etc. It's not very noticeable, but I notice it when I clean my car. There are tiny spots of touch up paint here and there, but no major problems with paint or damage at all. Mercedes are known for their gorgeous paint jobs, and at 13 years, it has stood the test of time. I think a quality compounding and an excellent wax will truly bring out the best. The car has never been in an accident, so there is no body work or paint work done to it. She is all original. All in all, she still looks fabulous. The interior is all leather, bucket seats, five4 passenger. I am a mom with two children, so I did have two baby seats in the back. The back seat is in decent condition, but the seats have slight indentations from the baby seats being strapped in for so long. Otherwise, the leather is all solid, it does show signs of usage, but is also has been detailed and cleaned and cared for. The carpets are a bit stained from just typical car usage. Dirty shoes, juice boxes, mostly my husbands dirty boots. I have had the carpets cleaned, but there is a bit of stainage. It looks nice and clean, there is nothing major to report, but it is not pristine. The front seats are automatic with a memory setting for two drivers and two passengers. There are MB rubber mats for both the front and back seats. In the rear seat, there is a fold down arm rest which has a pull out drawer with a fully stocked first aid kit in it (served me well with two children! I have it restocked). In the trunk is a full sized spare tire and special jack for the car (all instructions how to use it are in the owners manual). The car has automatic reminders that display when the car is due for servicing for "A" and "B" service, when any fluids are low, and even when a lightbulb is out. I loved this car! I will be VERY sad to see it go. The 4Matic is four wheel drive. When it senses that the car does not have full grip on the road, it automatically switches into four wheel drive, PERFECT for rainy days or snowy mornings! You can also switch it over to full time fourwheel drive simply by pushing a button. It has not let me down once, even on these uncomfortable Jersey weather days! It has been maintained, and is all ready for this winter. All in all, this is a beautiful, well maintained used Mercedes Benz. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send me an inquiry and I will be happy to answer them for you ASAP! Enjoy looking at the pictures, and have fun. You are bidding on a very loved car.
