Up for sale is a 1948 Chevy Truck Project. This is a large accumulation of parts which I have tried to provide quality photos of for your review. The truck has a clean NC title. I bought the truck a few years back from a guy who had already began the restoration process. The front clip was removed and primed. Included with the truck was 2 additional rear fenders, 3 additional tailgates, 2 bed sides, one bed front panel, an additional set of front fenders, one additional corner glass, a brand new grill in the plastic, a new hood emblem also in the plastic, a 350 V8 which he was told runs (neither of us have heard it), an automatic transmission, a new in the box rear shock conversion kit and an additional intake (Edelbrock Torker II). The original gauges, the glove box cover, rear view mirror (interior), and ash tray are also included. The truck was missing the steering column, steering wheel and horn button, when I bought the truck. I have since purchased these and they are included (original equipment condition). All of the cab glass is good with exception of the drivers door glass. It is in tack but cracked in multiple places. The windshield and back glass show signs of age damage around the edges but are in usable condition. The door glass has been removed but is included. I have loosely re-assembled the front clip, placed the bed on the truck as well as the step rails for perception only. The truck bed was rotted out when I got the truck with a sheet of metal welded in place. I have removed the metal bed. The trucks original motor and transmission were long gone. The drive shaft and rear end are still original. I do have the original petals, but the seat (frame and all) were missing when I got the truck. That is pretty much what I can explain that you can not see in the photos. I am selling the truck because I do not have the resources to restore it. There are a lot of quality original parts included as well as the new ones I mentioned. I paid $1500 for this truck and have added parts to the collection as well as performed some additional dis-assembly which the next owner can benefit from. My reserve will be $1500 and that is the least I will take. I have no desire to sell this truck piece by piece but it is worth well more than that just in the sum of the parts. Please don't ask me to separate as this sells as a whole or not at all. Shipping will be by the buyer. I will require $250 deposit through Paypal within 48 hours and the balance in 7 days with pick up with in 30 days. I will answer any questions submitted to the best of my ability.
