If you're reading this ad then you are probably familiar with the classic split window Volkswagen Bus. The 15 window models are quite rare, even more so than the 23 window sunroof models. Prices have climbed on these in recent years and finding one to restore or put back on the road is becoming more difficult. This Bus sat in a field in south Georgie for many years along with some of its other fellow VWs. I bought several of them and am now passing this one along. This is a1963 15 window Deluxe. It has the factory and highly desirable walk thru front seats. It has the original dove blue paint or what's left of it. It has great patina! The long panels on the sides are fairly straight. The drivers rear corner is crunched. It's missing the rear decklid, apron, and rear bumper. It still has the Deluxe front bumper. The hard to find rear corner glass is good. Almost all the other glass is broken or gone. The side doors actually latch and are pretty good shape as is the floor in front of the door. The rear seats are missing-no fabric on the front seats. There are various Deluxe door panels in poor condition but included. All parts that go with this bus will be included. I have this van in storage an hour from my house and will make sure I go thru the Bus thorougly to make sure all the parts are boxed up properly for transport. There is rust in the usual places but this bus is not too far gone. It would need rockers, front floor, needs patches in spots on the rear floor. It all depends on how far you want to take it. Weld in some metal, drop in a motor, and run it as is or restore it to stock. It has an uncut dash with clock. It still has original transmission. It has no engine.
