Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I am selling my Graphite Silver 2004, R 1150 GS. The motorcycle has been thoughtfully equipped and well sorted out by a meticulous, experienced rider 60+ years old. I doubt that you could find a cleaner one (bike that is). THE GOOD: The bike has been fitted with heated grips, ABS servo braking that works beautifully, six speed transmission, a comfortable Rick Mayer seat, self canceling turn signals, engine guards, cylinder head protectors, two engine skid plates, center stand skid plate, Terra Nova light bar with 6” PIAA driving lights, foot peg lowering kit, Pivot Pegs, fender extenders, steering stops, oil cooler guard, and a throttle lock cruise control. Everything works as intended. I am including a Wunderlich expandable tank bag and a Gear Bags Journey Duffle. Both are fitted to the bike. Also going with the bike is a set of Michatech panniers. These are incredibly well engineered, functional saddlebags. I am currently running on Continental TCK 80’s which are too aggressive for my style of riding, but 50% tread remains. I expect and get 43+ MPG regularly. All lubricants are synthetic (no leaks). The brake and clutch fluids were renewed this summer (1,500 miles ago) when the oil and filter were changed. I believe in maintenance … you benefit …there is no corrosion anywhere on the bike or wheels. THE BAD and UGLY: (1) The front fender seems a little off shade from the tank if you look just right. (2) There is a small dent from contact with my right thigh in the tank behind the “Bell Helmets” sticker. (3) The left rear corner under the seat has begun to separate a little. See the three photos showing these items. There are no other scratches or dings to photograph. This is an exceptionally well-equipped and maintained motorcycle that has performed flawlessly for 30,000 pleasurable miles. I believe it is as good of one as you’ll find anywhere!
