Vehicle Detail

For sale.... 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab with title in hand. I am at least the third, but probably fourth owner of this truck. I have had it for almost a year but unfortunately I need to part ways with it. This truck has a very strong 8.1L motor and smooth shifting Allison transmission...both just short of 141,000 miles. When I bought it the previous owner didn't know much of the history of the truck so I sucked it up and took it into the dealership where I paid way more than I should have, but at least the work was done right. The following was done this past October with all reciepts in hand... oil change(synthetic throughout the life of the truck) new fuel filter front and rear diff flushes transmission flush coolant flush new plugs and wires new front rotors new e-brake shoes new rear axle seals new battery power steering flush brake system flush throttle body flush and fuel injector cleaning new exhaust manifold gasket(right side manifold had two broken studs and caused exhaust leak...all repaired) front end alignment new rear rotors and pads(previous owner installed) new front shocks which I changed last week... the drivers side was in bad shape and the old ones looked to be original I have only driven the truck 4000 miles since the work at the dealership The truck runs great and everything works as it should. After the inital servicing I haven't a single problem with it except replacing the shocks. Only thing from time to time I add a quart of oil since these 8.1L motors like to consume oil. Nothing out of the ordinary though. I wouldn't think twice about loading a trailer and taking it across country tomorrow. I also put a car seat in it almost daily. This HD is also equipped with leather seats with one typical tear in each but not too bad, tinted windows...front ones might be illegal in your state, full size spare that matches the other tires, after market stereo, a back up lamp mounted on the rear bumper, nice cold AC, bully dog gas saver I have never played with, and a set of new front and rear duralast brake pads. A few minor and cosmetic things...the drivers side door inside grip needs replaced but still functions, the speaker in the drivers side rear door rattles badly(needs replaced), the rear tires are gonna need replaced very soon(front ones have some life left), inside of the bed has some rust spots where the bedliner rubbed before it was removed(all light surface rust that can be sanded down and repainted easily), the bed also has a chain locked on to the front left tie down and i left it since i don't have have anything to cut it off with, the front lower fog lights are disconnected and might now work, there are some dyked off wires running through the cab that were from a sound system install that were never removed, and the rear right outside corner of the bed was damaged and very poorly repaired...the previous owner told me the guy he bought it from jacknifed a trailer. Mostly little things that don't affect the performance of the truck in any way but need attention to make it 100%. So with all that said, keep in mind you are buying a used truck thats 10 years old at this point. It has been great to me and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere, but as used trucks go, I cannot and will not guarantee you'll be problem free forever. trucks require maintenance and unfortunately they are expensive. KBB is around 11K for this, but considering the shape its in and the work thats been done i'm asking a little more. any questions please send them my way. thanks
