Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice survivor. It is completely original other than normal wear items like tires, battery, etc. I don't normally pay any attention to Ford vehicles but this one was so nice I had to have it. I've enjoyed it for a while now and find it just sits in the shop mostly. I have a new project arriving and hope to sell this to fund that project. I purchased this from the original owner, as she was unable to drive it any longer. It has more records and written notes than any car I've ever owned. This car was what I call "over-serviced." Documented 132k miles. 289 2v with 3-speed automatic. Everything works, even the original AM radio. It has the original keys and the locks all work. It has had one complete repaint, and the drivers quarter panel has been painted because of a leaking gas cap (all recorded in the history notebook) Also the lower section of the tailgate had rust repair at the same time. The quarter and tailgate have the most recent paint on them and they are a bit "shinier" than the rest of the car. Not noticeable at all angles but if you are looking for it, you can tell. All in all this is a very straight, solid car with lots of new, recent parts including: shocks, tires, complete exhaust, water pump, radiator reconditioning, and all belts and hoses. I would take it to New York, right now, with no repairs needed before I go and no concern that it wasn't going to make it. I have included a picture of the beginning of rust bubbles behind the left rear tire, down low, and there is one spot on lower right fender you will see if you look for it in another picture. It is untouched, and uncleaned under the hood. It has been in the shop for a while now and there are no signs of leaking fluids onto the floor. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer but I will go above and beyond to help with that anyway I can. Thanks for looking - David
