CLASSIC 1974 CONVERTIBLE BUG currently lives in Pacific Beach (San Diego) CA. No Smog certification needed! If you like to smile when you drive, try this... put down your new convertible top, start up the happy ORANGE bug and zoom off to school, work or the Park n Ride. Everyone waves, smiles or wants to chat, "I always wanted a VW Convertible. That is so cool. What year is it?" etc. Wonderful 1600 VW engine runs great,. Electronic ignition.There is no rust under spare tire in the boot, some body rust on edges. Rust rash on the headlight hoods and chrome bumpers. A bit of rust on driver's side running board where the tread is worn through. Boot and engine hoods open and close properly. All windows open and close with a little attention. Ready to continue restoration and sell for $10,000.00 or drive and enjoy it like it is! (Negotiable to include brand new custom-made NOAH car cover with tie-downs and anti-theft locking cable.)
