Up for auction is our 1994 SAAB 900 Turbo Convertible - Classic. I have owned this car for several years and consider it my favorite (one of my kids) out of several classic 900's I own. I had no intentions of selling the car until lately and invested heavily in keeping it in great condition and replaced or repaired those typical issues that arise with age. For the AUTOMATIC's,it's the tranny and for the lucky winner - that won't been an issue they will have to be concerned with as it was REPLACED with NEW transmission less than 2 years ago. I have receipts for all of the work done to this car. The tranny alone cost over $ 3,000, a lot of money but it was something I wanted to invest in to insure it would last me forever.Unfortunately, I've run out of room and our family has grown and the car isn't being driven nor do I have the time to enjoy it - so I've decided it must go. We have since bought a large SUV and spend most of our time driving that and I baby this car from the elements, so I would prefer it go to someone that can enjoy it. Someone whom loves classic SAAB 900's like me and appreciates the beauty, design and performance. Someone whom also appreciates and understands the value of the $ investments I've made in this car. I will no doubt cry the day this car goes but know it will be better off and hopefully cherished and cared for the way our family has done so. My kids call it "BB" short for big bird, or bumble bee, and they will miss it too. Recent work includes: * Replace Belts (New)* Replace Crank Shaft Pulley (New Part)* New Battery* New Thermostat* New Fuel Pump* New Distributor* Tires Recently Replaced* New Turn Signal Clockswitch Part * New Tranny and more... Random Info and Details: The car gets regular oil changes and only high octane gas is used. Again, I have receipts for all work that exceed 5K and contacts of folks I trusted working on it. The radio is the original Clarion and it works, along with equalizer. Sounds great!All gauges, lights, power roof, windows, etc...operating. The exterior paint shines up nice and the trim in good condition as well.Fog lamps - with sport covers operate. The interior condition is VERY GOOD, no rips or tear in the leather, and the normal minor cracks on dash. The REAL wood trim looks amazing and adds a rich classic look and feel. The black convertible top is in decent condition but one day will need replacing, they all do. I have patched or repaired some holes to avoid leakage.Although the car is great in snow and bad weather, I kept it covered or saved it for weekend cruising or sunny days. So the top was just fine as is. The engine and car has little or no RUST - just normal wear and tear for it's age. It's a VERY NICE 900, RARE sought after COLOR combo, rare for the year so very unique, Fast TURBO, and with new parts and tranny will last new owner 200K plus more miles for sure. Great looking, incredible design, reliable and super fast! The automatic shifts smoothly and with ease - the turbo pulls and on the open highway its bad ass!
