Vehicle Detail

1972 MGB in great shape with NO RUST, This 72' was painted about 10 years ago and sat in storage until 2 years ago when I purchased it. It has new bumpers, seats, top, dash, windshield, electronic distributor and coil, clutch slave cylinder. As you can see I have put a lot into it. The seats are after market and I have them bolted into position. You can buy the slides so they are adjustable but I prefer them solid. (they are very comfortable) The paint is show quality but not show room quality. ( A few very small chips or scratches) I drive this every chance I get! The top is new but I made the mistake of getting it pinched in the folding mechanism which resulted in a couple of tears. (I had them fixed by Upholstery shop) The grill has a little ripple in it and I straightened it out and looks pretty good but that is really the only thing on the Exterior other than that its beautiful for the age, Mechanically in great shape and drives like a MG should (nice and tight and loves to corner) I installed a new electronic distributor and coil (AWESOME)! It runs so good. It came with a Weber conversion carb but I also have the original dual SU's with manifold and linkage (they appear to be in good shape but I would rebuild if you decide to install them) My MG starts every time and I love to take day trips but recently just took a 800 trip that was nothing but back roads. The interior is in great condition (like I said new seats, new door panels, quarter panels, rear panels, new dash, windshield, after market oil pressure gauge) the only thing you may want to install is a new carpet kit and seat slides) The engine runs excellent with 75psi oil pressure, does not smoke or burn oil (does have a very slight oil leak) Looks like tappet cover, but not enough to worry about. The transmission is tight with no noises, the rear end is also tight with no noises, suspension is very tight and drives straight and cornering is a blast! My goal was to drive to California with it and my wife. As far as it goes the MG is ready but I am not. We are self employed and our busy season is when I would want to do it so instead she deserves to go to someone else with the dream. I have too many hobbies and not enough time. If you need to ship this vehicle I will accommodate you in anyway I can but it is your responsibility to make the arrangements. As you can see my EBAY is 100% so bid with confidence! Enjoy the pictures and happy bidding!!!
