1956 Lincoln Premiere Convertible (Modified) Here is your opportunity to own a wonderful car. This is a Lincoln Premiere convertible that was carefully converted from an original Premiere hard top. This car is finished so incredibly well that it has fooled even the most knowledgeable car buffs upon close inspection. Fit and finish are excellent with no sagging doors or improper body gaps. This conversion was professionally done so that doors open and close perfectly as well as the trunk and hood with no binding whatsoever. The car is fitted with power steering and brakes and has power windows as well. It drives and cruises like a dream, runs cool, doesn’t use any oil and the transmission shifts perfectly. The paint color is a pearl white and is in near perfect condition and very glossy. The interior is red leather in incredible condition. The windshield is near new and the chrome is a mix of some new and really nice original pieces. It has four wide whites that are fairly new. If this were the real thing its value would be close to $100,000. The prior owner had shopped for a convertible top frame and was told that it could be fitted to the car because the door and side glass and their motors are in place. So it would be a pretty straight forward modification. I have driven this car in parades in extremely warm weather and it does not overheat or vapor lock. It always attracts a crowd because of its beauty and rarity. Here in an opportunity to own the most desirable Premiere convertible at a fraction of what the genuine article would cost.
