Hello ! I have up for auction a 1977 NON turbo Diesel model Scout 2 4X4, I have owned this truck for many years with intent to restore it but I do not have the $ or time to do so. This truck DOSE run and the AUTOMATIC transmission did operate and move this old truck around my property but it has a long way to go to be a reliable vehicle,it smokes pretty bad upon 1st starting but will clear up,the trans cable is pretty bad and it is hard to shift,have to hot wire start it because the engine wiring harness is missing,alternator isn't correct,pretty rusty,no tailgate, and many more inefficiencies as can be seen in pictures BUT it has a sound frame and I think to the right person has a lot of potential. It would probably be best to pick up this truck.
