This is a 50 champion project that needs completion . This car was a barn find that needed a lot of body work. I have welded in new front floor panels and rocker panels and 4 new -body to frame mounts-(parts from classic enterprises),plus several patch panels in fenders and body. The underside was scraped,wire brushed,seam sealed,and painted with black. rustproofing paint. It has 4 new gas shocks, all new brakes-master cyl.,4 new wheel cyl. w/speed bleeders, new hard and flex brake lines and new emergency brake cables. Brake drums were resurfaced. The seat covers are NOS Western Auto vinyl over new foam rubber. NEEDS: It still needs a new headliner and interior trim and weatherstripping. IT NEEDS A WIRING HARNESS! I disconnected the harness and installed a 12v battery and ford type starter solenoid and 12v. coil. I will include a NEW 12v. chrome plated ,one wire 100 amp.alternator from Eastwood. Also included but not installed is a 12v. overdrive solenoid . The orig 6v. od solenoid is still in place with wiring disconnected. The heater and defroster units are missing . I will include a 12v. motor to replace the 6v.motors in most aftermarket heaters. I replaced the 2 vent windows and drivers door window. The curved back glass is in good shape. This leaves 5 pieces of flat glass to replace. The tires have lots of tread but should be replaced due to age. No spare tire or wheel. Bumpers need re chroming. Vehicle is being sold with a transferrable N.Y.S . registration- no titles before 1971. This is a good project for a mild custom or cruiser. Body and paint-it's a "ten footer" Has typical bumps and dings of a 62 yr. old car. Health issues force sale-Any questions are welcome .
