Those of you who follow my auctions know that I am a physical therapist in the Tucson area that has a love for all original, unmolested, low mile and very clean cars and trucks. Because I work with many of the elderly or retired, I have a unique way of tapping into some of the cleanest cars in the nation. This little GMC Sierra is no exception. It is SUPER CLEAN!. It was originally bought in Northern California by an elderly man. When he got to the point where he could no longer drive, it was given to his son who I purchased the truck from. They were friends of one of my patients and that's how I found out about the truck. This truck has been garaged since new and it shows. I actually wanted to keep it for myself as my daily driver but I have to take 3 staff members with all of our gear to one of my clinics 3 days per week and it just doesn't work out with the limited space. I have been keeping it as a second truck just to drive on weekends etc. but I just picked up a new truck and I definately don't want to see this one sit out of the garage so I'm putting it up for sale. These little regular cab,shortbed, stepsides are getting very hard to find in good shape, especially optioned with the 5.7L engine. This thing is like a little rocket ship!. It has never been abused and would make any GM ethusiast very proud to own. I will outline it more in detail below: INTERIOR: The interior looks like new on this truck. There are no rips, stains or even wear on the seats or carpet. I have the original floor mats which I have removed and they will go with the truck. I have been using just generic black heavy rubber mats as they protect better than the stock ones. Everything on this truck works as it should. AC is ice cold! Heat is HOT!. There are no rattles or funny noises and no engine light etc. on. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. Always owned by non-smokers. All the original jack and tire changing equipment is in it's place and looks to have never been used. The seat has the fold down center console for storage and arm-rest or it can be folded up to seat three comfortably. Headliner is in perfect condition and all interior lights work as they should. EXTERIOR: There has never been any bodywork or paintwork done to this little truck. It is factory paint and in great shape as you can see from the pics. There is no clear coat fade etc.. The body is exceptionally straight with only a few very minor dings that you have to look hard to see and that will not show up in the pics. No major scratches anywhere on the truck, even inside the bed. All the chrome is in great condition and the side moldings that often yellow with time are in beautiful condition. All glass is in good shape. The truck is equipped with a towing package that looks to have never been used. The front headlights show some cloudiness as is normal with these but they are not as bad as most and function just fine. Original wheels are in good shape for the age. Tires have pleanty of tread left. All doors open and close smoothly and lock as they should. Windows are very fast and crisp. MECHANICAL: No mechanical issues at all with this truck. The engine fires right up and runs very strong. At only 111k miles, this truck is just getting broken in. The intake manifold gaskets were done recently and there are receipts for the work that goes with the truck. Tracks straight, stops straight, no shakes or shimmies. A very smooth truck and gets compliments all the time. I have driven it through the HOT arizona summer and it never gets close to overheating and the AC stays very cold. Leaks no fluids, does not smoke at all and does not burn any fluids at all. Trans shifts perfectly with no issues. Fly in and drive this truck ANYWHERE. In summary, this is a very rare, well kept, low mile truck that is getting harder and harder to find. They look great stock or slammed and with some rims and tires on it. It will not disappoint! I am willing to store the truck for the winning bidder for a reasonable amount of time after the end of the auction and, as always, am willing to pick you up at Tucson International Airport should you want to fly in and drive it home.
