You are looking at a 1997 First generation Mazda Miata MX5. The last year of the flip up headlights. This car has 116,000 miles on it, it has no rust, newer tires, newer brakes,new exhaust, newer clutch and a new top which i have records for from previous owner. Everything on the car works and works well, the paint is in good condition and the the car does have a few dings on it mostly on the doors, but no serious dents or damage. the front bumper is a little chipped up so if it matters to you you might want to have it painted. Overall the outside of the car looks great for a 15 year old car. Inside also looks great accept for the front drivers seat has two small spots of wear on it which are taped shut as shown in the pictures. The only other thing that may need replacing in the future would be the shocks they seem a little worn. The car has power steering which i believe is the only option. it has no AC or ABS and no active stability control so its a pure drivers machine. I am the 3rd owner of this car. I purchased it in Michigan in May of this year as a temporary car as I was waiting for a hand me down pick up truck. Since I've owned the car i replaced the stereo speakers which were blown when i bought the car. The floor mats( still have the Mazda originals) were replaced with new rubber ones. The only other thing I can think of is the wheels, they are in great condition but have some signs of corrosion but I'm sure with a little TLC they can be buffed or polished new.
