Untitled Document 1965 1/2 Buick Gran Sport - 1 of 1426 Built The 65 Gran Sport was Buicks 1/2 year entry into the muscle car game and the resulting product consisted of squeezing a 325 HP big block (445 Pounds of torque) into the light weight A Body based Skylark. Offered for the first time on EBay is this beautiful 1965 Buick Gran Sport convertible. She is an original matching numbers big block muscle car that will only appreciate in value. We’ve owned this car for about five years and put about 500 miles on it every summer before storing it in the winter. The odometer shows under 69,000 original miles and she’s the perfect car to enjoy worry free today, then restore later on as an investment. All the parts needed to put the car back to stock are included and this could easily be done in a weekend. The paperwork shows the car originally purchased in Kokomo Indiana by a Doctor who trusted and cherished it so much that he let his daughter drive it everyday while in college. It was eventually purchased by the Doctors insurance salesman who'd admired it since it was new and he later sold it to a gentleman from Kentucky who I then purchased it from. I "freshened" the car up a little bit by adding the following touches to make her a little more enjoyable: - New convertible top (four years old) - Professionally installed stereo, amp and speakers. (Original AM stereo and dash panel and kick panels are included and bolt right back in place) - Coys rims (original rims included) - Front bumper replated - Stainless wheel molding refinished The previous owner had the body lifted off the frame and had the suspension rebuilt, brake / fuel lines replaced and the frame repainted. The floors and trunk pan are very solid (see pictures). I would give the car an overall 7.5 out of 10 with ten being a "perfect car".
