Hello there, I am Selling this unrestored 1974 VW Camper with no reserve. I bought this fine machine from the 2nd owner in Arizona last year with the intention of restoring it with my son. He has since decided that my passion for restoring old VWs is not his own and he would like to focus on girls, football, vintage Camaros and oh yeah GIRLS. We are not going to get around to this one so this is your chance. I picked this bus because it was in Arizona and was 99 percent rust free, had the original interior that was mostly complete and had a pretty straight body with almost all original paint. The previous owner told me that he hit a deer about 5 years ago and attempted to repair the front body damage himself with poor results. He then bought another bus and lost interest and this one which has been sitting ever since. He said it was running and shifting well when it was parked but had some wiring issues that will take some time to sort out. The engine is missing the distributor cap, rotor and plug wires. It also is missing the battery and voltage regulator. The only rust is pictured in front of the left rear wheel arch. Other than that, it is dry and very solid. There is no canvas under the poptop but the mechanism works fine. The camper interior and beds are all dirty but very original and mostly complete. The glass is all there and is in good shape. I have a clean California title and the bus is currently registered. 1974 and older vehicles are exempt from smog testing in California. I have over 65 EBAY transactions with 100% positive feedback. I will sell the bus to the highest bidder PERIOD! It is not for sale elsewhere and I will not except offers outside EBAY so please don't ask.
