Up for auction is this 1981 Cheverolet Camaro Z28. This is a relist due to a non paying bidder.Ebay has a run of this happening lately. Please do not bid if you have no intention of following thru with the sale.Auctions are costly and time consumeing.If interested in buying before auction ends we will be willing to add a buy it now to the auction. It is a local car that the prior owner has owned for 10 years now but decided to trade it in on a newer car that we had. This is a car that he did up to his liking and used it on special occasions through out the years. I will tell you as much as I was told and how I see the car. To begin with, the body is very clean and straight. All body panels are good and solid. Nice clean floors. The prior owner told me that there was a couple of small rust spots on the trunk pan and he repaired them. The panel behind the gas tank has some rust through typical of these cars that will need repaired or replaced. Overall a very respectable body. The interior in the car is in real decent shape. It is missing the ash tray and the area for the radio was modified to fit the newer Kenwood CD player that is installed. The original engine was replaced with a freshly built 1970 Camaro 350 300 HP Engine with headers. Has a fairly new stainless dual exhaust system. The car has Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Kenwood CD Player, Tilt Wheel, Int Wipers, Rear Window Defogger, Cloth Interior, Tinted Glass, Posi Rear (I believe 3:23 gear ratio) and factory Z28 Equipment.Also i have the factory build sheet. Has a new set of 225/60R15 Radial Tires. The car runs and drives good. As with any old car there is always some tweaking to do. The hood needs adjustment on the back springs so that it sits flush. It is missing the lower front grill. Some of the door rubbers are missing and some are dry cracked so figure on a complete set of those. One bolt on the drivers front seat is broken and needs replaced. There are 4 new gas charged shocks that will be included and a new heater box panel. Also new body mount rubbers, some appear to have already been installed. With a little TLC this could be made into a really nice car. Drive and enjoy now, fix it better later.
