The reason its for sale.. I bought this car for a friend who had a stroke. It turns out after getting it and letting him drive it it would be more then he could drive safely. I dont want to pursue the project. The Good.... Drives and stops and steers great. lights all work well and engine still feels strong. If you have never been in one of these little cars there surprisingly peppy for a 6 cylinder. Top is good. Frame is straight. Best quality about this car is... there are alot of parts out there and its a pretty easy restoration project that wont cost over 20.000.00. and if you have EVER restored a car that number is very low.. In the end you will have a great little car ready for the car show or the golf course. And when the time comes something quite nice to hand down to a special person. Its already very close to original The Bad The body is going to need work.... the car is well worth the effort.. Things I would get ..trunk, rear bumper, rear valance and both rear side pannels... then rechrome trim and bumpers grille then redo the seats and carpet then paint... Sounds like a ton? Well thats what I would do... maybe 10.000.00 to 15.000.00 AFTER you get it home... Recap... Great car for a restoration. Wont cost a fourtune. Will be worth it in the end. I would have dumped the 15.000.00 into it easy myself if my friend could have been comfortable driving it. However if he had then it wouldnt be for sale.
