I'm selling my 1997 Land Rover Discovery XD limited edition from Land Rovers "special vehicles" Team , the XD (extreme duty) was only made in 1997 and only made in yellow there was a total of 250 units ever built , I have heard there are about 90 left on the road , this truck will need some missing parts (previous owner) to be a complete XD , that will be the SD roof rack and front skid plate both not that hard to find , the engine has 180000 plus miles , the good thing is that the head gaskets where done about 20k ago by the previous owner (no paperwork), since I own it this is the list of what I have done 11/2010 spark plugs champion platinum Purolator air filter Serpentine belt Clean throttle body and MAF 11/14/10 new 4 tie rod ends alinement front newer shock procomp adjust steering and steering box 11/20/10 oil change at 177021 castrol gtx and mobil 1 filter 12/01/10 5000k HID's 1/14/11 New OEM brake master cylinder, new brake fluid 02/16/11 new coolent expansion tank 3/1/11 New 8mm Kingsbourne spark plug cables , re-gap and clean spark plugs 3/19/11 Used 2" big blues with 4 procomp 9000 shocks 3/22/11 seal upper windshield are ,no more water leaking thru 4/30/11 replace camshaft sensor with new/used unit 4/30/11 replace crankshaft sensor with a brand new unit 11/19/11 replace all the coils with a new coil pack , re gap spark plugs. 02/12 replace power steering hose with a new OEM What it will need : Clear coat is coming off on the roof and edge of fender, black out hood is cracking ,roof liner is sagging , 4 tires soon , few dings and tiny dents . There is a steering vibration around 50 to 60 mph is coming from the track rod bushings , I do have a new set and it will be included in the sale . Other than that is a good vehicle that needs some TLC to be 100% but being such a rare Discovery is worth the effort , vehicle is located in my house in Bloomfield NJ 07003 ,sold AS IS where it is no warranties given , clean NJ title in hand inspection is good until 11/12 On Sep-17-12 at 20:19:09 PDT, seller added the following information:Forgot previous owner was a painter he droped some paint on the rear cargo area (see pic) that's hard like a rock paint , it didnt bother me but FYI.
