For sale: 1985 XR350R street legal all original*. (EVEN ORIGINAL SEAT**). This bike has around 2000 original miles on it and has been garage kept its entire life and has a clean Colorado title. It has never been disassembled or rebuilt. It runs perfectly, is street legal, and ready for action. The reason I am selling it is because we are having a child and it is time to sell some toys in anticipation of upcoming medical/family expenses. I rode it today (Saturday) and it ran as well as it did when I bought it 4 years ago. Because of the reliability of the Honda RFVC engine, it has never needed any non-routine maintenance and while my friends are always sinking money in to their "newer" and "better" bikes, I can just keep going. It weighs 260 lbs with 1 gallon of gas in the tank and is as quick as it was the day I bought it. The only modifications I have made to the bike is added a horn button, brake light (to make it street legal) and added passenger foot pegs. The only non-OEM components on it are: rear sprocket, handle bars (now Renthal), licence plate /plate holder, brake light, horn switch, and passenger foot pegs. All of these items are removable. The frame has very minor scratches and paint wear and some of the plastics show very minor signs of wear. Overall, the plastics are in excellent condition - no sun oxidation whatsoever. This bike has significantly less wear than typically expected for bikes of its age. Early this afternoon (the afternoon I originally listed this bike), I took pictures of the bike, then went out to the carwash to give her a quick cleaning, and on the way there, the odometer quit working. Fortunately I had taken pictures prior to the Odometer quitting, and I have a picture of the Odometer taken early in the afternoon with 2081.5 miles, and one later this afternoon @ 2085.9 after taking it to the car wash. I took both photos with my iphone and can offer them to anyone that is interested. THINGS TO NOTE: - I took several sort of odd angle shots so you can see sun reflecting off of the gas tank. The gas tank is in great shape. - I also included a shot of the rubber clasps that hold the headlight on. The rubber is not cracked and is in new-like condition. This afternoon, I ordered an OEM right foot peg, and these items will not be installed but will be included in the auction. The bike is missing its chainguide.  It is a $30 part and I can order it and have it installed if need be.  With this bike you get: (1) extra sprocket set, (1) OEM tool kit**, (1) set of new side plastics, (1) OEM owners manual, (1) OEM waterproof documentation bag** Finally, I love this bike, and I am not over-motivated to sell it. The price is negotiable, but I won't be low balled. I am very detail oriented and have been very careful to make sure this bike has been kept in the best condition possible. SHIPPING: I would highly prefer local pickup. Come over, look the bike over. I would highly recommend hiring an inspection service to come over and do an on site inspection of the motorcycle. Like I said, the bike is immaculate and runs like it did the first day I bought it. Even with that being said, it is being sold "as is".  If you decide to buy it "sight unseen", BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING CARE OF SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS. Just google motorcycle shipping and you will find many companies that would love to help you. I will however be glad to arrange with a shipping company for them to come and pick up the motorcycle. Also, as to be expected, I do not ship to Nigeria but you are welcome to come over and inspect it yourself. PAYMENT: Cash/Check/Paypal.
