Vehicle Detail

You are looking at the funnest car you could ever own!!! This 1963 Ford Galaxie 4 door sedan has been cloned into a County Sherff's car. This car will "Take Over" any and every car show, parade, or public function. Everyone wants a picture even the police,,,, even driving down the freeway they want a picture, even the police! The car is a desert car "LITTLE TO ALMOST NO RUST" the odometer reads 45660, actual millage is unknown,,, but after replacing the ball joints, control arm bushings, outer tie rods, u-joints, it all looked original, as in never replaced with lubable parts and NO dried up grease or worn out parts!!! The car might have 145660 but you would never know it. The engine and trans were pulled and resealed prior to a complete strip, DP seal, and paint. I started with a VERY straigt car that had NO signs of ever having an accident more than a ding, so there is very little bondo,,, like less than two quarts and most of that got sanded back off. The seats are good but have some stains in the plastic and the fabric is sun faded a little but the upholstery guy said it all could probably be restained. The headliner was just professionaly replaced with the "Correct" material,,, and looks great. The 390 engine 2brl and large case MX trans work and run great. She starts great hot or cold..... Just turn key and have fun. The glass is good, the tires and brakes are two years old,,, thats like 800 miles. everything works but the clock. On the down side, the door pannels look old and they were next on my punch list. I do have a reserve on this and it's 1/3rd of what Hagerty Collector Car Insurance has it insured for. ANY questions just ask, I want to be as open as possible. On Sep-17-12 at 18:14:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I've just been informed that the engine may be a 352 and not a 390. I was told it's a 390, 390 parts fit it, the transmission is the larger one that comes behind a 390,,, but now I'm unsure? So to be as open as possible I'm putting this out there, it's a big block ford that runs great and I'm sure of that. Sorry for any confusion.
