1940 chevy 1 ton dually with a flat bed and hoist.This is a nice old truck. I bought this truck the way it is and its a cool truck to drive and it gets a lot of looks and comments and all Ive done to it is wash, change oil and drive it. I really like this truck but im going to be moving and have no place to put it. It has a 6 cylinder motor and a 4 speed transmission. The truck runs and drives good. The front main seal leaks oil and the clutch is a little jumpy. The hoist works good.when the truck was restored somebody put the front and rearend in it out of a 1993 chevy. It has all drum brakes and has a newer style fuse box and new wiring. The interoior of the truck is nice and looks good.It is still a 6 volt system and has a new battery. All the gauges work except for the fuel gauge. The winshield wiper also does not work. All the glass is good except the back window has a crack. The sheet metal is in really good shape. The cab is super solid. the floors and doors are really nice. The only body work that I can see that was done was alittle bit of work on the back of the cab around the back window and on the front fenders. The front fenders have got little bit of fiber glass in them and a few small dents that werent taken out and you can see that there a little wavy in spots. the gril is in really nice shape and so is the hood. The paint still looks realiy good. This is still a nice looking cool truck. I have described this truck to the best my my knowledge and If you have any questions you can also call me at 715-382-5413.
