1982 FORD Mustang – Custom WOW Check Out the High Score on the Vehicle Report! 53So many new parts and so many hours placed into this fine car I have owned this vehicle since 1988 – 24 years and keep it garaged 24/7. It starts strong and idles very good. I have taken good care of this car and started a second customizing many years ago and simply have not painted it. It has blue interior and had the seats re-upholstered to original / new condition. I had put new carpet in it during the restoration. Over time it has faded even in a dry stored garage. While it is stored I also have kept a car cover over it. What is amazing about this machine is it has been the most dependable and strongest car I have ever owned. I would drive it anywhere in the United States. It is a 4-speed manual transmission that has about 50k miles on it and the 2.3 Turbo Block engine. My original engine and transmission was replaced by this one that came out of an S.V.O. Has a thicker block, better pistons and rings. Do you remember the S.V.O.’s….very fast! The radiator and engine has never had any stop leak in it…very very clean!!! The Fiberglass work has been extensive. All one piece molded front end. Side and rear ground effect has also been molded in creating a one piece. The front end air-dam is handmade and molded; one of a kind! The sides of the vehicle have been customized with inlayed blue neon lights. This is also a one of a kind item. The door handles have been removed and door poppers installed to be hooked up to any remote for a car, alarm or accessoryThe car has been in primer for some years and always garaged kept. There is no rust of the underbody or on top of the car. Over time some of the primer has flaked and cracked in a few spots due to not painting it over time. Regardless of a perfect primer it would still need to be lightly sanded and sprayed before painting. It can be painted any color of your choosing by anyone or place of your choosing. I have vested over $15,000 in this vehicle, a super great deal for anyone who makes a wise decision to pick this one up. There is some little work to do cosmetically, as far as functionality; I would drive it to California, Florida or anywhere!
