Up for sale is a 1972 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe C10. This trucks engine was built by a professional auto tech with over 20 yrs experience. No expense was spared in building this outstanding running and sounding engine. The truck performs on the road and highway just like every modern day car. I have driven it on long trips and it does not perform like a old truck. The suspension, wheels, tires, interior, engine and transmission is all almost new. The car is rated at 475 HP. The exhaust sounds exactly like what you would imagine a 475 HP muscle car would sound like. It roars down the street. People stare everywhere I go. My wife HATES the truck, So obviously it is SWEET. The stereo is custom as well, and the vintage air system blows ice cold. I would give the trucks engine, ride and performance a 10. I would rate the body and paint a 8. The paint in fine. But there does appear to be repair to the drivers side bed panel. There is wave in front of the wheel well. The body work is not terrible but not show quality. You can drive it just as it sits with no issues. Also there is a small bubble in the drivers door at the very bottom, less than the size of a dime. Also a small bubble on the bottom of the passenger door same size. The only other issue is a few small dings in the hood. My body shop quoted my under $1200 to take the truck to the next level. But I am a dealer and I do not want to take the time to do it, I think it looks fine and the performance out weighs the problems. Here is a list of everything on the truck. Suspension has a static drop using the best parts from ECU 3-1/2 5 drop with ECU springs, shock re locaters, drop spindles, adjustable sway bar, upgraded front sway bar with poly bushings, QA1 adjustable shock around. Drives and rides nice, handles well and sits right!Interior has many newer parts from Year One including carpet, houndstooth seat covers, new cushions, fully dynamat floor, new factory headliner and trim, nice factory sun visors, white faced gages with full gauge package and tach, billet auto meter gauge mount with phantom gauges for vacuum and fuel pressure, JVC head unit touch screen, with DVD player and Bluetooth, Alpine digital amp with MB quart 6-inch component speakers in kick panels. Vintage Air Surefit kick with factory white face controls and factory vent. Tilt column and billet steering wheel to match the Coys. Engine started with a nice small block 400, two bolt strong block, which was professionally machined, including decking and line honing, then filled with all of the following new parts: Eaglecrank, Eagle H beam, R pistons, 18 cc dish, balanced assembly, Lunati Hydraulic Roller Cam, Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Lifters, Comp Hardened Push Rods, Stainless rockers and hardened locks and retainers, heads are Edelbrock Victory aluminum with Ferrea stainless valves and Comp pac Alloy Springs, factory CNC port matched, intake is Edelbrock Air gap, Port matched and ARP fasteners, on virtually every component, 7 quart Morose oil pan with two piece gasket, Comp two piece billet timing cover, Edelbrock water pump, Ignition is handled by a MSD probillet distributor, digital 6 controller and HVC coil along with MSD wires. It also has a Powermaster 120 alternator, Billet Specialties Brackets and pulleys. Two electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Engine oil has been changed every 1000 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic.Transmission, Termec TKO 600 five speed, purchased from classic Chevy five speeds, hurst offset shifter and hurst stick, new 621 bellhousing, hays billet flywheel and hays clutch, all ARP hardware, new driveshaft u-joints including balancing. Shifts perfect, no issues, also Wilwood hydraulic master cylinder and external slve cylender.Brakes, stock with new lines, calipers and wheel cylinders and hardware along with complete CPP brake Master assembly.Wheels are Coys 8x20 in the front with 255/40/20 Toyo Proxes STII Tires, Rear are 10x20 with 295/40/20 tires.Bumpers, door handles, and side view mirrors were all purchased new, along with hidden hitch from ECE and light kit. Fuel system consists of a Quik Fuel Q-750 Carb that was purchased new and then custom tuned for specific combination, fuel line is all A/N braided line with a billet filter and Aeromotive Billet Manual pump.
