Thanks for looking at my listing. I am selling my 1984 Chevy Corvette Targa Top. i have owned it for a couple of years and dont want to part with it but the family is getting bigger and i wont have time for this. The engine has been swapped for a 6.6L 402 with the 700r4 automatic 4 speed that has been rebuilt as well. Victor JR. high rise intake with a brand new Edlebrock 650cfm carb. starter and alternator are new as well as the battery, thermostat, radiator hoses, spark plug wires, spark plugs, shorty headers with flowmaster exhaust that these sounds awesome. Car has been repainted from silver to black metallic. the paint looks good, all except the hood and front bumper. i converted the front end to a 96 and the hood was swapped for one with a scoop to clear the new bigger motor. The hood needs some fiberglass or bondo work to finish molding the scoop and the front cover needs paint. Also has the sawblade wheels from a 96 as well. looks super nice with these wheels. Interior has no carpet, the seats have been recovered by the previous owner who went with the black/yellow theme(Not my thing but theyre new). Pioneer aftermarket cd player, rebuilt digital dash, add on oil pressure and temp gauges since those two dont read on the dash. power windows, locks, seats all work, the mirrors dont. its not done but is driveable and fast! also has an electric fuel pump installed, hood support conversion to the shock style instead of the scissor lift, new shocks, fully rebuilt rack and pinion with lifetime warranty, brake pads are almost new, has an alarm with keyless, new washer pump and new horns as well. it has been a labor of love but i have no choice. i have two vettes and can barely convince the wife to let me keep the other one. feel free to ask as many questions as needed if i forgot something. if youre in the area feel free to come by for a test drive. also comes with extra parts just in case. extra headlights, center console door, and a few other things. ask all questions before you bid. i always respond as i get them on my phone. a bid is binding and is not a ticket to come see the car and bargain. i am not in the business of lying to get you to buy. if you want to take it to a local mechanic that is fine as well. the undercarriage does not even have a spot of rust! youtube video of it running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2jaOIPsfaQE forgot to add, the sawblade wheels are staggered with fronts 17x8 and the backs 17x9 with 255's in the front and 285's in the back. as i remember more things i will update.
