**THIS JEEP IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO NONPAYMENT FROM PRIOR WINNING BIDDER** This 1997 Jeep Wrangler has been in our family since the year 2000. I was using it as a commuter car and just recently took it off the road due to problems with the transmission. First and second gear are a little iffy, but third through fifth and reverse are just fine. It'll need a little work. The New York State inspection sticker is current. Last year I replaced the front windshield, had a new heat blower motor installed, and replaced the U joints and manifold. The brakes were done about four years ago and are still doing fine. The tires are newer and the tread is good. The halftop is also in good shape. I do not have the backseat for this Jeep any longer, but have an extra set of door windows to go with it. The front driver's seat is in rough shape with tears and duct tape, hence the seat cover. The front passenger seat is fine. The carpets are rough. The paint on the hood shows some crackling, which I tried to show in one of the pictures. There is some surface rust appearing on the frame and some rust coming through on the front two fenders, which I also tried to capture in some of the pictures. The plastic corner of the front bumper was bent by a moving truck on a tight turn. It could easily be replaced as you can see in the pictures. For a vehicle with this many miles, this little engine is still running strong. I hate to sell the car, but I have enough projects already. This would make a good project vehicle or just fix the transmission and continue to drive it as is. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks for looking.
