For sale is a 1967 MG Midget. This is a restoration project that I just don't have time for. The car starts and runs well (but smokes). The rear axle/differential will need looking into as it clunks when the clutch is engaged. Radiator has a small crack and leaks (but a new replacement radiator is included). Although the car has been converted to 12 volts, there are some electrical issues that need sorting (big surprise): headlights and taillights don't work, turn signals are intermittent. Although a spare speedometer is included, neither work. Body is in very good shape with no visible rust. BRG paint is not particularly shiny, probably not original, though it is serviceable. Has wire wheels and the original steering wheel (which has often been replaced with aftermarket wheels in MGs of this vintage). Project comes with a pile of parts: knock-off tool for removing wheels, spare taillight lenses, a refurbished cylinder head and valves (purchased from eBay), cylinder head gasket set, spare vent wing, trim pieces for the grill, radiator hose, air filter, heater valve, three repair manuals, an old starter, generator, alternator, and coil (functionality of these three is unknown), new wiper blades, new seat covers, new radiator, new turn signal switch, spare speedometer (inoperable), carb balancer tool, fender protector, boot. Top, tires are almost new. Should be a nice, minimal effort restoration project.
