Up for sale is a 1968 Mercury Monterey. Its has 40,000 original miles, original 390 v8 with a 2 barrel carb, interior is in excellent condition, no rips, tears or anything. The A/C was working but started to leak in the front seal I believe, I just havent had time to fix it. I bought this car out of a collection that was alway stored inside, no rust anywhere. It had been sitting a while so I had to rebuild the carb and put in a new fuel tank. It now runs like a dream. Other than the ac not working, the only other issue is someone had replaced a front freeze plug with a rubber one that has a nut on it. It leaks a little but not to terrible, I still drive it to work which is a 25mi round trip. It also has a dent in the middle of the back bump. This is overall a great car in great condition for its age,NO RUST, No restoration is needed, just a little TLC. I do have the original wheels with tires that will come with the car.
