Thanks for looking and PLEASE READ BEFORE you bid. Up for sale is a 1966 Buick Skylark Convertible the car belonged to my cousin and Ihave the title clean and signed by her. The car is a running project or great foundation for a restoration. The car starts right up but has a lifter tap when cold it quiets down after running a few minutes it has good tires and new battery, plugs wires and distributor cap ( I was unable to put the points uniset in the parts store did not have them ) new starter and the top is only a few months old the rear window is cloudy and should have been replaced with the top but wasn't. The frame is good and the floor pans look good to from what I have seen under the car. I put in a new master cylinder and started to bleed the brakes but the left rear wheel cylinder is leaking so the brakes won't stay up long, I have ordered new rear wheel cylinders but don't know how fast they will arrive so they may or may not be installed before end of auction. The car with brakes and points could be a driver like it is but to do it right it would need the dents and dings fixed and a new paint job easily seen in the pictures.......interior is very nice 1 small crack in the dash but the seats carpets and sunvisors are all good so again it is a great starting point for restoration and very little to do to use it as a driver car............the front bumper has been painted so it must need rechromed again it isn't my car so I don;t know everything about it other then the lifter tap when cold the engine sounds good and it goes right into gear I hope to have a video of the engine running for you by Saturday...the radio and horn do not work and the power top does not work it must be opened and closed manually ( the top motor is there just doesn't come on????? Please look at the pictures and ask questions this car is sold as is where is without warranty of any kind...it is currently safe to drive on and off of a trailer but the the leaking wheel cylinder it is not safe to drive! I will require a 100 non refundable deposit through pay pal end of auction and full payment in 7 days.............AGAIN THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR IT IS A RUNNING PROJECT AND IS BEING SOLD AS THAT SO DON'T BID THEN COME EXPECTING A SHOW CAR......... I have been on ebay for many years and did not get my rating by doing bad deals..............bid only what you are willing to pay and follow through on I will not take offers for the car below the list price and I do not have a buy it now because of the people that click it then don't do anything and it takes forever to get it straightend out with Ebay..............if you wish a buy it now submit your offer and i'll give you a yes or no simple as that. I almost forgot the power windows do work the passenger front does not work from it's switch but works fine from the drivers panel the glass is all good and the air conditioner does not have a belt on it so I have no idea but it is an ac car. I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold locally or if an acceptable offer is made. And yes I have the original air breather for the car as well as the original owners manual to answer a question asked by someone. I was asked this even though I put it in the listing yes I have a clean title for this car I am still hoping to get a video up by Saturday and the car will go into local advertising mediums tomorrow so if it gets sold there then the auction will be ended.......please do not wait until there are 5 minutes left to ask questions if you have any that will not give me time to answer themOn Sep-07-12 at 11:08:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Just an update for everyone the rear wheel cylinders came in today I will try over the weekend to have them put on and bleed them I also had a question about overseas shipping. I will send the car overseas but the buyer will pay fully through pay pal and add the 3% they charge me to the total and the buyer will have to arrange his own shipping I will assist on my end all that I can and yes this car can be driven onto a carrier.
