I don't understand all the hype on these newer cars that only provide 33-35MPG...economy 2 door deathtraps for 1000s of dollars and it doesn't even come with power mirrors, let alone a sunroof?!? Older Volvo cars get at or near today's mileage at fraction of the cost, not to mention the safest cars in the world! I know Honda Civics are hot reliable cars, but I've rarely seen one with leather and never with heated seats. Power windows?? Sure, but you're gonna pay for it. Any way you look at it, the S40 is not only a far superior car, but the BEST value especially during these tight money times.
