The Price has been reduced, You won't find another that's in this good of shape this cheap. Get it while you can. This is a 1958 Desoto Firesweep by Chrysler Corp. It is a 4 door sedan with the rare 350 -295 HP engine that was only made in 1958, also the rare Power steering and Power brakes. Auto transmission with push button shifting. It has 60,349 original miles.The man that owned it died and it sat in his garage around 20 years till his wife recently sold it. A matching numbers Car and engine ,all original with all original Paint, stainless trim, hub caps, keys, service manual, etc. Every piece of the car is here , nothing is missing .The body is super straight , never been wrecked. It has a few small dings No big dents.The roof top and drip rails are super straight and clean no rust . The wheel well openings are clean no rust. It had some rust in the headlight eyebrows but I have cut them off and replaced them with a good set and lined them up and fitted them on, they just need prepped and wielded on. The floors have rust in the usual place that needs cut out, and I have made new patch panels and laid them down ,they just need prepped and wielded.The trunk floor has rust and needs cut out and I have a new floor pan for it. The bottom of the Quarter panels have rust and I have new patch panels for them. The rockers have a few rust holes and two small holes are around the back windshield. That's the only rust except for a few small places of surface rust. All the glass is in great shape. The seats just need redone and headliner. I have taken off the bumpers , trim, gas tank and interior. I have cleaned , prepped and under coated the engine compartment so it's ready to go. I took the engine apart and the block is in great shape , ready to rebuild. I also have $75.00 worth of brand new trim moulding clips. I have put many hours of work into the car, so that will save you a lot of working time .Over all the car is in really good Original shape.This is a car that you rarely ever see anywhere.
