1978 Mustang II. Have been using as my daily driver, runs and is dependable. This is a nice Mustang II. It had a bum paint job when I bought it 4 years ago, and the paint is coming off in chunks (NO RUST), vinyl roof is toast as well... thats the bad part. Otherwise, this is a really nice 34 year old car. So many new parts I can't even list... some, transmission was replaced 3 years ago ( very low miles on the tranny, with a shift kit, 1500 dollars there), shocks replaced around the same time, completely new ignition system (had a problem with the control module, and EVERYTHING was replaced in the process), new hi-torque mini starter, new master cylinder 3 months ago, custom dual exaust (sounds AWESOME!), dash electrical was professionally redone, new heater core 600 dollar job). Tires good, shackles added to the rear to give a 'lil boost up :) There is some problem with the carb, I believe it is probably in the choke, it likes to die when 1st started, you have to work it a bit.Good tires with alot of life left. Valve covers need redone, some oil escaping and there is some smoke from under hood after highway driving. Interior is quite decent, original seats, new carpet, dash pad hides cracked original dash (the plastic is antique). Headliner needs replaced.Summary: Solid running car that needs quite a bit of cosmetic attention. I want this car to have a GOOD home. I love it. Can't afford to do the body work. I HATE to let this go, but really need to. Engine replaced about 15000 miles ago (have receipt), have quite a bit of the paperwork, but not all. E-mail any questions, I will do my best to answer.
