Up for auction is a 1994 Toyota Pickup 4x4 Truck w/extended cab v6, auto, with right below 200k org miles. Truck is still in great shape after being driven all these years during the various new england seasons. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: -Body is in good shape; minimal rust (front pass side fender). -The frame, rockers, and bed are still in tact and in great shape with no rust. There are various dings and scratches throughout the truck (A picture was taken of each ding, scratch and imperfection). The rear arches were redone approx 1.5 years ago (rust removed and new sheet metal was put in its place) Body work is good, not a maco job but not show quality. See close up pics of rear arches* -Head Gaskets were done 1.5 yrs ago -Newer Starter--- Truck has remote start that is fully functional*** -Stack of receipts from work done over the past few years; alternator, water pump, belts, etc -A/C + 4WD currently work -Always taken care of -Sunroof and Rear Sliding Window -Dash, door cards are all in great shape -Recently replaced OEM rear bumper, not an aftermarket job Cons: -Idles rough and a lack of power. Since the head gasket was done fairly recent, I am thinking that the truck has a bad valve. A compression check was not done so this is only an educated guess. Truck still runs and drives. -Burns oil; approx 1.5-2 quarts per 3k miles -Radio has been removed -Rust on the front pass side fender + the various dings and scratches throughout -Bent rear wheel---however, it still holds air and drives--you don't feel it while driving -Wheels have a little corrosion on them since they are chrome--With a little elbow grease and a brillo pad you can get them looking new -Rip in the front drivers seat (see pics) Overall, truck is still in above average cosmetic condition given its age. The idle and lack of power issue need to be addressed if this truck would become your daily driver.
