Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1987 Buick WE4 with 73k on the clock! I bought this car a year and a half ago with the intention of bringing it back to showroom condition. After bringing it home from Delaware I went through the car, got a list of parts it needed and got everything it needed. After getting all the parts in order I decided the first thing I needed to replace was the trunk jamb due to rust. I began by removing the back seat and had almost gotten the rear window out to replace the trunk jamb when it happened....WE HAD TWINS! Needless to say I haven't touched it since then. So a year passed and now seeing how time intensive having twins actually is, I decided I'm probably not ever going to get around to finishing the car. So here it is. I bought the car from the original owner down in Delaware and still have the signed title. It wasn't running when I brought it back because the intercooler and battery had been stolen out of the car where it was being stored. I haven't had the time to get the intercooler back in and the other little things needed to get it running again. I do have all the mechanical parts to get her up and running again. Mechanical parts to come with the car are as follows: intercooler, air hoses from turbo to intercooler and from intercooler to throttle body, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, fuel filter, mounting brackets for the intercooler, vacuum lines and new oil lines. I'm sure I'm forgetting some more parts that will come with the car but they'll be more when you come to pick it up. As far as the frame goes it's solid. There are some body issues that need to be addressed and I'm including all the body parts to finish the car. First issue as mentioned above would be the trunk jamb, it has rust issues and really should be replaced and a new trunk jamb is included with the car. That's also why I have the rear window taped up with plastic as seen in the pics. Second body issue is the windshield reveal which has rust in one corner, easily replaced and a new one comes with the car. The bumper fillers have dry rotted so I have another set front and rear to go with the car. Another issue that's typical with turbo regals is that the trunk lip has rust so I'm including a whole new deck lid with the car. I also found a small crack in the header panel around the front grill so I'm including another header panel with the car. The interior of the car is actually in nice shape. Like I said the rear seat is out of the car and in the garage but the seat and everything goes with the car. I'll let the pics speak for the nice interior. This is a true WE4 of which there were not many made so to finish this car is to put a nice investment car in your garage. These cars were actually faster out of the factory then the GN because they have the same drivetrain but the are lighter with the aluminum wheels and no spoiler lip on the trunk. The car is not running right now as it does not have the intercooler installed, battery or the plug wires and will need fresh gas and the tune up parts installed and it will need to be towed home. If you know these cars at all it will probably take you a Saturday or Sunday to get it running or if you have any mechanical ability then maybe a weekend. Time that with the twins I just don't have anymore. I will have all the parts ready to go with the car when you arrive to pick it up. Please email me with any and all questions about the car BEFORE you bid and if you don't have the cash for it DO NOT BID. I'm really sorry to see it go but I know I just won't have the time to finish it the right way anytime soon. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! On Aug-27-12 at 17:06:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been asked quite a few times now if the car is for sale locally and Yes, it is. If the right offer is made I will end the auction early
