This is an Arizona truck recently brought to upstate New York. Prior to my buying it it had been painted white, over the original blue, and the engine was rebuilt about 6 years ago. Since purchasing it I have focused on getting the systems working well and ensuring that the truck was reliable. I have had Bob Adler of Adler's Antique Autos in Stephentown, NY complete a long list of items focusing on that goal. At this point she is very reliable, I drive her whenever the weather is nice. You can contact Bob and discuss the overall condition of the truck and the long list of things he did. He had checked out both the engine and the transmission and found them both to be in great condition. The engine needed a few refinements in both carburation and oil filtration. Bob installed a new wiring harness, replaced broken glass and got all the dash gauges working. The tires are good. The chrome wheels show a little rust. The body is in great shape. I have not had any body work done except sandblasting and painting the running boards flat black. I have not touched up the little areas where the paint has chipped and a little surface rust is showing so that the photos will represent an accurate picture of her condition. You can tell from the battery compartment, often the first area to rust, that the body is in great shape. The greatest area of surface rust is where the running boards meet the fenders. Prior to painting them black I had Bob cut them back slightly to allow run for movement without the two parts rubbing together. Basically I have had her worked on with the assumption that I would drive her for a long time. I can not continue to restore her but I have cut no corners on the work done to her. She will make a great truck for regular use or a complete restoration. In a sense much of the nuisance work that people often avoid has been done. On Aug-24-12 at 05:24:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a few calls asking obvious questions that I should have answered. The truck is 12 volt, there is no tailgate or rear bumper, the transmission\rear end is the low end granny gear version. The grille is perfect. I tried to include closeup shots of more of the truck but am limited by ebay to 24. Therefore I tried to limit the detail shots to where there is some small ding, crack or surface rust.
