Up for sale is a bone stock down to the mufflers 89 Mustang lx 5.0. Car has been sitting for a while so there are some repairs that need to be done. I purchased the car for the interior for a project that I am working on but I think the car is to complete to rip apart so I figured I would offer it here and if it does not sell ill go ahead with my plans. I will explain the car to the best of my ability but feel free to call me with any questions you mite have. So again car is an original lx 5.0 auto. All stock no mods. As you can tell from the pics there is rust starting on both rear quarters and on the hatch. They are not holes yet but there is rust. I would prob scrap the hatch if you intend on restoring the car. All the door gaps are original and straight. There is rust on the pass. side shock tower as well. Looks like at some time someone was in there and did some patch work before. I want to note this because this is a known issue with these cars and feel it should be noted. The floors are actually solid in the car and don't have the typical mustang lean to them. Under side of the car is scabby but like I said this car has been sitting. Only other rust issues are a few bubbles starting on the fenders again no holes. Interior is near mint, reason why I purchased the car. It is 100% complete down to the radio. No major stains or rips at all. Everything works as it should pass side window does get stuck at times when putting back up. Car starts rite up first crank of the key. The brakes do have some type of leak as there was no fluid in it when I got it. I did put some in and the pedal did come rite up. Also there is a gas leak by the tank not sure what that is. I have not driven the car seems to go into all the gears ok with no major issues. But again I am not promising anything. Overall this is a great project or parts car for someone.
